Background:The Club provides facilities for 8 sports/school organisations.
There are 2,000 members, of which 800 are female and 1.400 young people.
Activities offered are; cricket, tennis, hockey, running cycling, junior football, softball and netball.
The trustees have have worked hard in recent years to secure 20 acres of land which has been secured within a charitable trust. This protects the land from any non-leisure inappropriate development.
All members of the Club are very appreciative of the Patronage of Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Clive Woodward, Andrew Strauss and Alex Danson and the value they add.
As Paul Sambrook, Club Chairman says, “All the trustees are committed to building on our proud past and to constantly find ways of improving the facilities in ways such as: attracting more sports options; providing wheelchair friendly access and improving the Clubhouse space for broader use by community groups. We really do see an exciting future”
