Pubs · Worcester
One of Worcester's most historic buildings, the King Charles II is one of Worcester best kept secrets. Famous for being where Charles II stayed as he evaded Cromwell's troops, the building dates back to 1577 and is complete with an oubliette. The house serves Craddock's Ales (Stourbridge), Barbourne Ciders (Worcester) along with Pieminster's delicous Pie and mash. With roaring fires in the winter and dogs always welcome the King Charles is steadily becoming a favourite amongst residents and tourists alike.
