Chestnut Nursery

Chestnut Nursery is situated next to Poole Park and is open to the public seven days a week selling a wide variety of perennials, shrubs, trees, compost, pots, seasonal crops and honey, logs and coal.

Chestnut Nursery is a project of SWOP (Sheltered Work Opportunities Project) which is a registered charity. The project provides meaningful work in a supportive and pressure-free environment, for adults with severe and enduring mental illness.

SWOP aims to use the therapeutic nature of horticulture to restore mental well-being.
